Between the Sticks

Guglielmo Vicario (Spurs): Even though finishing on the losing side against the Blues, his colleagues left him exposed. He faced 18 shots, nine directed at goal, with an expected goals of over three for the opposition yet he kept them in it. He stood firm for his side.

Backline

Nico O'Reilly (City): The talented teen is frightening. Naturally a midfield engine, he slots in brilliantly at full-back. His display in the win over Bournemouth was impressive, marking him as a rising talent.

Gabriel (the Gunners): A constant menace, he helped secure a further shutout for Arsenal. He is a nuisance from dead-ball situations, just being there was decisive in the win at Turf Moor. Opponents are intimidated by him.

Jean-Clair Todibo (West Ham): Selected for two reasons: his team's victory and his composed, assured display. While Newcastle were not at their best, he stood out on the ball and calmed things down. After a few uncertain displays, he appears to have grown under boss Nuno Espirito Santo.

Ryan Sessegnon (the Cottagers): He sparked the team in the win over Wolverhampton. Excellent in attack and reliable all season, he's found the net to his game. Great to see him healthy and performing.

Engine Room

Moises Caicedo (the Blues): The sole engine no one can dispute. Crucial for Chelsea, he was the top tackler. Like the Duracell Bunny, he pushes the team ahead. Arguably the best holding midfielder in the game.

Declan Rice (Arsenal): Another pivotal performance versus Burnley. An absolute beast, he netted and shines from dead balls. As they face weaker opponents, he regains energy and executes forward surges. Important to unleash him.

Ryan Gravenberch (the Reds): He advanced, scoring versus a poor Aston Villa team. His ability to control the game on and off the ball, along with his vision and challenges, rendered him key to the victory.

Forwards

Diego Gomez (Brighton): He netted a brace against Leeds, and his style was graceful gliding past opponents. Running quickly and strongly, he edged out teammate Danny Welbeck for this spot.

Erling Haaland (Manchester City): What else can be said about this phenomenon? Every time he broke through, you expected a score. He never looked to be off target. The ruler is back. After off-season chatter about other strikers, Haaland reigns supreme. He could break scoring records this year.

Rayan Cherki (City): Operating as a right winger is his ideal role. Remarkably two-footed, a rarity since Santi Cazorla. He can take set-pieces equally well. A gifted player, he looks sharp post-recovery. His connection with Haaland is evidently why he was signed.

Gaffer

Nuno Espirito Santo (the Hammers): Haven't seen it, check out the way he celebrated the third goal versus the Magpies. It demonstrates what it means to him and the squad. He's aware West Ham face challenges, yet they need to get through and secure results.
