The Co-Creator of Call of Duty, Has Passed Away in an LA Vehicle Accident
The visionary game developer, who helped create the globally famous video game Call of Duty, has passed away in a vehicle crash in the state of California aged 55.
His passing was confirmed by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, the development studio that he helped create.
The renowned industry figure lost his life when his vehicle was involved in a crash and burst into flames on a highway in the Los Angeles area on this past Sunday, US media outlets report.
"This is a heartbreaking loss, and we stand with his family and friends, his family, and all those touched by his legacy," a spokesperson for Electronic Arts stated.
