Sydney Law Enforcement Charge Four Individuals Over Suspected International Ritualistic Child Exploitation Material Ring
NSW police stated they've discovered an international satanic child exploitation content network and charged four Australian men for their suspected participation.
Investigation Particulars
Investigators from the special victims unit indicated that as part of Strike Force Constantine, an investigation into the online circulation of child sexual abuse material involving satanic themes, they dismantled a Sydney-based network.
Law enforcement alleged the group was actively involved in possessing, sharing and enabling this material through a online platform that was "administered internationally".
Law Enforcement Actions
Officers, joined by the tactical unit, carried out six property searches in the Waterloo area, Ultimo district and Malabar region on Thursday early hours the previous week.
- At the Waterloo address, police detained a 26-year-old male who they alleged played a "key position" in the network.
- The man was accused with multiple crimes including possession of child abuse material, distributing abusive material, and spreading and owning bestiality content.
- He was refused bail to appear in court the previous Friday.
Additional Arrests
In an apartment complex in the Malabar area, detectives arrested three men of ages forty-six, 42 and thirty-nine.
Additionally they were charged with holding child exploitation content and additional offenses.
The four individuals are scheduled to appear to the judicial system at a future time.
