Loyal supporters of the pop star are demanding that a individual who leaped a barrier and touched the performer during Thursday's Wicked: For Good launch be taken into custody or removed from Singapore.

A viral clip depicts the person identified as Johnson Wen pushing past photographers and charging at Grande while the cast walked down a yellow carpet accompanied by fans.

Cast member Cynthia Erivo quickly wrested the stunned performer away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being led away of the event by guards.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram recently that he was "released after being taken in", though official papers showed that he was set to appear on Friday morning. It is uncertain if he was charged.

History of Incidents

This is not the first time for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Notorious Troublemaker", has invaded a celebrity gathering. His Instagram account features videos of him disturbing other celebrity events, including breaching the performance area at Katy Perry's Sydney performance in recently and in a similar way during The Chainsmokers concert in the same location last year.

"Steps should be implemented enforced against him as this is obviously a criminal offence," stated an Instagram user, in a reply to a video Mr Wen posted of his act.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" another Instagram user remarked.

Fans Show Disapproval Over Ariana's Well-being

Many fans criticized Mr Wen for "triggering past anxiety" Grande, who had revealed dealing with trauma-related anxiety after a devastating incident at the finale of her 2017 show in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and harming many.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" commented another comment on Instagram.

Several attendees also questioned security officers at the premiere for not being sufficiently alert; while others demanded online networks to remove Mr Wen's videos.

Response and Premiere Information

In footage spreading on the internet, Grande seemed surprised when she was touched by the intruder. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed reassuring her while Mr Wen was led out by security.

Grande has remained silent on the event, and the remaining proceedings proceeded as normal.

Hundreds of Singapore attendees had lined up to meet the performers of Wicked

Many of fans had assembled in a mass of colorful attire at the Wicked: For Good Asia-Pacific launch in a Singapore mall, including some who had queued for as long as a significant duration before it began.

The motion picture, to be launched on 21 November, is the sequel of a two-film interpretation of the popular Broadway and West End show Wicked, which focuses on the unexpected relationship between two very different characters.

The musical itself is a adaptation of the twentieth-century children's novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who portrays the benevolent sorceress Glinda, was decked out in a rosé sparkling outfit at the gathering while Erivo, who plays the wicked witch, wore a black tube gown featuring roses.

They were accompanied by cast member Jeff Goldblum.

The first movie, Wicked, was the most successful movie of 2024 in the UK, and received ten Academy Award nods, securing several for best costume and artistic direction.
